High School Principal Bio

Stacy Hilton began as the Germantown CSD Jr./Sr. High School Principal in October of 2022. Originally from Syracuse, Ms. Hilton has lived in the Mid-Hudson Valley region since 2003. 

Ms. Hilton completed her undergraduate work at SUNY Empire State College, where she received a Bachelor Degree in Cultural Studies. She completed her Masters Degree in English, her Masters in Teaching and her Certificate of Advanced Study at SUNY New Paltz. Mrs. Hilton worked in education for 12 years prior to accepting the position, many of which were at Germantown. Prior to becoming the Principal, she worked as an administrator at Ellenville Central School District.

“I chose to work in education because I wanted to do something that would make a difference, and because I love learning. Being able to work with children and adults in a field that is so impactful continues to be a wonderful experience. Germantown, with its supportive and welcoming environment, felt like a second home for me as a teacher, and so it is especially rewarding to be able to continue leading the learning in this collaborative community.”
