As a reminder, on Tuesday, May 21, residents of the Germantown Central School District will vote on a proposed $16.8 million budget for the 2024-25 school year. The budget includes a 1.27% tax levy, which is below the state’s statutory Property Tax Cap limit.

Voting will take place in the Elementary School Gymnasium from Noon to 9 p.m.

In addition to the budget, voters will elect two (2) candidates to the Board of Education.

Who can vote?

To vote, you must be:

  • At least 18 years old
  • A U.S. citizen
  • A resident of the Germantown Central School District for at least 30 days prior to the vote

You do not need to be pre-registered to vote on May 21. If you are not registered, you may not appear on the voter roll. Be sure to bring photo identification that shows an address within the district, or proof of residency such as a current utility bill.
